Alexandra of the Cosgrave Stable that the Parkwood Stables Donna Julia did not carry her correct weight in the sixth race at Woodbine Park, on Monday, May 23, when she finished first, has been upheld by the Ontario Jockey Club stewards and the purse awarded to Bain Marie, owned by the Cosgrave Stable, which finished second. Mrs. J. Badames Trey is awarded second money, Mrs. G. Hardys Epi-i curus third money, and J. H. Blacks Alwin-tour fourth money. Donna Julia carried 113 pounds in the race, and her correct weight should have been 118 pounds. The agent for the Parkwood Stable claimed five pounds Canadian-bred allowance for Donna Julia upon making entry, and for this mistake, trainer Frank Gilpin, being responsible, is fined 00. A
