TWELVE IN AGAWAM FEATURE Guy Fawkes Assigned 122 Pounds for the Inaugural Handicap at Massachusetts Track. SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 27.— The top-weighted Guy Fawkes led the twelve eligi-bles for Saturdays running of the Inaugural Agawam Handicap, opening day feature of Agawam Parks thirty-three day spring and summer meeting. Owners of handicap eligi-bles responded in warm fashion to racing secretary M. C. Shea*s weights, and a capacity field of twelve is expected to face starter Ira Gregory for the five and one-half furlongs dash. Guy Fawkes, owned by A. C. Norris, was assigned top weight of 122 pounds on the strength of several handicap victories last year. The Lyman Brusie-trained four-year-old colt has been away from competition for very nearly a year, but has been prepped to fine condition for tomorrows feature attraction. He spots every other member of his field, which includes some of the fastest sprinters in this sector, from eleven to nineteen pounds. Second highest weight will be carried by Gay Balko, Paul Andolinos flashy performer. An arrival from Suffolk Downs, he worked this morning over the Agawam Park track and gave evidence of hid excellent condition for the sprint. Inviting, another invader from Kentucky, wan shipped in by Ralph Mcllvain and carries 108 pounds, one more than that allotted Bright and Early, Ritorno and Sua Antioch.
