The latter, forced to lose ground throughout, swung wide entering the stretch, came fast when straight and was wearing down the winner. LEAP YEAR LADY, a strong factor from the start, tired after five-eighths. MORISCO closed fast. HASTY RUTH had no mishaps. COURTAWAY, rushed into a comfortable lead during the opening quarter, increased her advantage under light urging, tired during the final eighth and just failed to last. HENRIETTA, in close quarters early, moved up when clear and closed resolutely. SUN ALOHA saved ground throughout and held on well. LUCKY LEE had no mishaps. ALGHERO made up ground. MARYAN D. was done after a half mile. PATSY RUTH began slowly and met repeated interference when racing forwardly. EASTORIAN was outrun. FELAWAKE lacked room early, moved up when clear, responded to strong urging in the drive, was impeded by the winner in the last stages and was placed first through disqualification. WINSOME LASSIE, jostled back early, came fast when clear and finished strongly in close quarters. FREE FORESTER was forced to the outside for room and closed with a rush. The latter held a forward position from the start and finished well. SCOTTYS PRIDE had no mishap. LEGAL GAMBLE showed a dull effort. LITTLE BUBBLES was done after three-quarters.
