Heinickc; bred by Messrs. E. Showalter and W. B. Miller. Winner entered to be claimed for ,800. WENT TO POST 5:08. AT POST 6 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. THE RUNNER, close up early, moved to the front midway of the final turn, withstood a stout drive willingly and barely lasted long enough to stall off CAMARADERIE. The latter, beginning slowly, weaved his way between horses in the last five-sixteenths, closed stoutly on the inside of the winner and just missed. ANGLO SAXON was strongly ridden and held on well after displacing AMHURST. LONG FACE worked his way forward on tho inside to enter contention on the final turn, then saved ground, but could not stay. FRENCH TRAP was prominent all the way. UVALDE raced on his own courage. LADY GAY-HEART was never able to reach contention. AMHURST was done after going three-quarters. The others were outrun.
