Next year work will start on a mutuel pavilion and an odds board along the lines of the one at Long Branch, while two years from now a new grandstand will be erected. A reproduction of the form chart of thirty years ago will be. inserted in Saturdays programs. . Dufferin is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary. The Empress Stable of C. Hemstead purchased Tommy Rose from H. Neville. The following stables shipped to Narra-gansett Park: J. H. Logan, with nine; P. Mecklenberg, four; W. J. Waterman, four; E. P. Rickard, three; J. Badame, three; Mrs. G. Hardy, two, and C. Boyle, two. Jockey Sterling S. Young will remain in Toronto until Sunday. He will then go to New York for the Jamaica meeting. W. Clements will serve as outrider at Dufferin Park in the absence of H. Chappel, who left for Narragansett with the stable of Dr. C. N. Mooney. At the request of horsemen entries will close each day at 10 a. m. at Dufferin. A. J. Halliwell purchased Aunt Flor from i M. Keeling at private terms. He shipped her j direct to Narragansett to join the main division of his stable. i J. H. Logan left the homebred Rural Mail in Toronto for the duration of the Dufferin Park meeting.
