QUEEN ELIZABETHS ESCAPE DUNDEE, Scotland, Oct. 14. Queen Elizabeth narrowly escaped serious injury or worse today when a heavy beam of wood became dislodged while she was visiting the Lord Roberts Memorial Workshop here and fell within three feet of her. Members of the royal entourage were appalled when the heavy piece of wood toppled from the ceiling and crashed at her feet. Her Majesty herself was startled, but afterwards made light of the incident and chided those who felt otherwise. Authorities were convinced it was an accident.
