I LAUREL PARK TURF NOTES t $ 4 It developed that jockey W. Snyder, who rode Prince Pettie in the eighth race at Laurel on Wednesday, made the claim of foul against Kindacorn, the winner of that race, instead of jockey J. Gilbert, who rode Mothel. R. Emmett Potts, trainer of the Bomar stable, returned from Keeneland Park and took over the Detroit-owned stable. Trainer Tommy Bonham reached Pimlico with five horses that will race for C. R. Fleischmann. The horses which came here from Detroit to race for H. N. Lape, and which were quartered at Bowie since checking in, were reloaded and transferred to Laurel. Jockey R. Merritt returned from New York to remain in Maryland the balance of the season. Jockey Harry Richards is scheduled to leave for Jamaica on Friday to ride Hants for the Greentree Stable on Saturday. Jockey Silvio Coucci, flew from California and began working for Alfred Gwynne Van-derbilt, the lad giving first call on his services to the vice president of the Maryland Jockey Club for the remainder of the Maryland fall season. The Italian rider was seen astride Pit Bull in the fifth race. Six members of the Brandon Stable were loaded and prepared for shipment to Narra-gansett Park.
