FCC DISMISSES COUNSEL WASHINGTON, D. C, Oct. 14. By a four-to-two vate the Federal Communications Commission removed its general counsel, Hampson Gary from office. Commissioners Craven and Payne voted against the ouster. Gary, who is 65 years of age, was a member of the diplomatic service before being employed by the commission. William J. Demp-sey was named acting general counsel.
