! JAMAICA TURF NOTES f $ . At private terms Jack McPherson, acting for the Falaise Stable, sold to G. N. W. Mc-Naughton the juvenile Light Year. Stake blanks for the fall meeting at Bowie were distributed by Francis Dunn today. Jockey A. Pascuma arrived from Toronto and will don silks during the Empire City meeting. Jack Healey purchased from the Falaise Stable the two-year-old Sun Shaft, which he will race this fall. Two claims were filed in the fourth race when B. F. Whitaker claimed Throttle Wide from T. B. Martin, and Victor Emanuel claimed Nellie Bly from T. P. Morgan. Each claim involved ,000 to secure their respective purchases. At private terms J. H. McCoole sold to the Sanford Farms the horse Optic which will be converted into a jumper.
