1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES j ! Mrs. Raymond R. Russell, whose husband owns Alamo Downs at San Antonio, Texas, was an arrival from her home to remain for the balance of the meeting. Apprentice Frank McTague, under contract to Conn Smythe, accepted his first mount of the meeting when he rode Please Doctor in the first race for his employer. McTague, who has ridden in more than fifty races, had his first winner last month in Canada. I Carrickore, which races for Mrs. J. B. Hilliard, was sent here today from River Downs and was turned over to W. G. Sparks to train. 1
