1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I t Bull Lea, Doubt Not, Easy Mon, Sure Off, and Vain Bo comprising the remnant of the Calumet Farm stable which trainer Frank J. Kearns took out last spring, returned Friday from Pimlico to Calumet Farm in good order. Trainer Kearns will select another string from the horses now in training at Calumet Farm for Florida racing and in a short while will transfer them to Hia-leah Park. In the car with these horses are Grass Cutter, which Theodore Mueller bought at the Baltimore sale, and a couple of others, one the property of Bob Kleberg which went to Howard Rouses farm at Midway, and another th3 property of Mrs- Vera S. Bragg which went to Slickaway Farm, recently purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Bragg from Roy Carruthers and J. O. Kccne. Grass Cutter was met at the car by trainer Georgev Brooks and taken by motor van to Churchill Downs, Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Bragg, accompanied by trainer Don Cameron, arrived, from Baltimore and they will remain here several days giving attention to repairs being made on the house and barn at Slickaway Farm and to inspection of the mares and foals there, likewise the yearlings which are being trained at Louisville by W. G. Douglas. Dan B. Midkiff returned from Baltimore in time to meet a car containing horses he bought at the Baltimore sale for Frank Orsatti, they being the stallions By Pass II. and Balko, and the mares Karma in foal to Kantar, and Dixie Bud, in foal to Happy Argo.
