ASK RECOUNT IN INDIANA INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Nov. 11 Republican leaders today mapped specific steps for obtaining a recount in the race for United States Senator won by Senator Frederick Van Nuys, Democrat, by a margin of less than 10,000 votes. Chicanery in the elections held in five counties was charged by Arch N. Bobbitt, Republican state chairman, and his stand was backed by John D. M. Hamilton, the partys national chairman. The Democrats captured all five counties. The G. O. P. chieftains mourned the loss of Raymond E. Willis, opponent of Van Nuys, but they rejoiced in the sweeping victories. Included in the gains were an increase in the number of congressional seats from one to seven, control of the house of representatives of the state legislature, fifty-one to forty-nine, possible election of most candidates on the state ticket, victoriesvfor a majority of county, township and mayoralty nominees.
