t BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES f s Former jockey Paul Schmitz, who brought Mooneybrook and Inauguration here to. race for Charles McDonough of Eureka, Calif., is planning on disposing of Inauguration and returning to the McDonough ranch to break some yearlings and prepare them for racing. Jockey Allan Gray sustained a broken collarbone after finishing in the eighth race Thursday, when Barbadoes stumbled and fell near the six furlongs chute. The injury will occasion the inactivity of Gray for several weeks. Several van loads of horses were sent to Tanforan Friday morning, when the performers of the Double H Ranch and the Three Ds Stock Farm were transferred to the San Bruno course. Trainer T. D. Grimes also sent some of the Louis B. Mayer representatives when he loaded Honey Car, Camp Ship and Flying Bonny for Tanforan. The Mayer horses were in charge of the veteran horseman, Henry T3utler. The first shipment for New Orleans will get away for the Crescent City when Frank Gorr and T. W. Winenga send their stock to the Fair Grounds race track. The consignment will leave San Mateo Monday.
