! LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES s Before departing for New Orleans with the R. J. Murphy horses, Otis Clelland purchased the three-year-old Knee Deep from J. W. Parrish. John Goode represented Mr. Parrish in the sale, terms of which were private. Clelland sent Three Bangs and Lucky Amelia to the Murphy farm, near Evansville, and his New Orleans division will consist of eight seasoned performers and six coming two-year-olds. Frank Letellier, who plans on getting away for New Orleans next week with twenty old horses and five yearlings, announced that Junius W. Bells Steel Heels would be fired and wintered at Churchill Downs. Letellier is leaving five other horses here with Steel Heels. The division of the Blue Ridge Stock Farm stable Tommy Root raced at the Churchill Downs meeting, was shipped to the Illinois Farm of M. E. OToole. Milton Reiser took up the yearling son of Percentage and Princess Octa, which he raised and a chesnut son of Monks Way and Fairy Ring, which he purchased from Baylor Hickman. The Monks Way offspring is a half brother to Ideal Fungi. Ideal Fungi will be shipped to Tropical Park, and the yearlings will be wintered at Churchill Downs.
