I TANFORAN TURF NOTES S a J. Emmons sent Tristrap, Curious, Dad ; Butler, Biddys Toy, Booter Ford and Benton Citizen for A. Drumheller. Trainer W. Sims ! sent Zadra, Jolito, Triplane aid Fort Ryola, which race for Mrs. Sims, .to Tanforan. Among the belated arrivals was trainer C. Thurman, with twelve head, of which four are the property of W. Davis, and eight, which will represent Rancho Nicasio, which is maintaned.by R. F. Weber. W. H. Yarling was an arrival from Chicago with Falermian and Yes Polly, which race for Nowack and Yarling. W. H. Yarling is the trainer. Included in the string which L. Helton is i training are Mohac, Joe Eaton and Oh Dolly, which are the property of the Black Mountain Farm and owned by Chambers and Helton. E. B. Derman has added four more to his i string, having taken over the horses Lucas : Valley, Reida Wood and Calnova, a chestnut filly, tvo years old, by Tarpaulin Pick-again, for D. Hogan. Trainer R. W. Pearce has taken up Pa-penie, Handle Cross, En Masse and Lysand-er and returned them to training after several weeks of inactivity. They were given quarters at Tanforan and joined the others of the Jobella stable, which is maintained by Harry Conn. Richlein, which was claimed recently by Mrs. O. C. Rasch, was turned over to O. C. Rasch, Jr., who will direct the conditioning of the filly for her future engagements. Tne six head representing the New York Southern stable, maintained by R. W. Perkins, were transferred to Tanforan. Trainer D. D. Bogart supervised the loading of the horses for their trip. Ted Horning-, representing W. E. Boeing, sold to Grayson Philpot, the horse Balkan Land, which will be campaigned at Agua Caliente. It is understood the animal will be turned over to Philpots father, A. Philpot, who will do the training. E. Soule, one of the executives of the Hollywood Turf Club, stated the five-eighths training track which is being erected adjacent to the Inglewood course is nearing completion and should be finished soon. A. R. Bresler, who is directing the training of the T. Donley horses, is in quest of a capable handicap performer and is willing to pay a liberal price for the animal. Aside from training Moon Madness for Miss I. Sutter and Berenda for Miss M. L. Berkovich, trainer J. W. Clark will also have charge of Shalot and Irrevocable for J. Pel-ter. Among those who transferred their horses to. Tanforan Monday morning were J. Emmons.
