t LEADING AMERICAN TRAINERS e $ Hirsch Jacobs is nearing the century mark in winners for the 1938 season, having a total of ninety-nine with the racing of Saturday. Most of his rivals failed to gain any ground, "Bert" Alexandra being in second place with seventy-three winners and Guy Bedwell next in line with seventy-two.
