1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES -s Jake Lowenstein sent Invincible and Threadneedle to Mrs. Thomas Murphys Golden Maxim Place, where they will winter. John Marsch, Chicago sportsman, came down from the Windy City and, in company with Roscoe Goose, his trainer, motored to Lexington to inspect the Marsch brood mares and weanlings. Theodore E. Mueller, owner of Shady Brook Farm and stable, and George Brooks, his chief trainer, returned from Pimlico, where Mueller purchased Grass Cutter. A car containing a division of the Le Mar Stock Farm horses trained by J. P. Keezek and those owned and trained by R. C. Gillem left here for New Orleans. Al Horton, whose horses are quartered at Chicago, motored here to inspect several horses he expects to acquire for winter racing. J. J. Flanigan is busy selecting the horses he will take to Hialeah Park this week. Earl Steffen and apprentice N. Pariso will accompany the shipment.
