FINAL DAY FOR PAYMENT Nominators to the 1939 Classic Stakes at Arlington Park are reminded that today is the final day for payment of the second fee of 00. The 1939 Classic, which will be the first renewal under the new "Futurity" conditions, is expected to raise the gross value of the 0,000 added event to upwards of 0,000. The Classic Cup, most valuable of American racing trophies, will go to the winning owner again in 1939. Introduced, in 1938, these annual gold trophies are f ourteen-carat replicas of the historic Coronation Cup, won by Mrs. John Hertz Reigh Count in England in 1929 and its design represents the ultimate in the craftsmanship of old English goldsmiths.
