t BOWIE TURF NOTES f e H. G. Bedwell, who guides the destinies of the A. C. Compton stable, loaded a draft of his stable in one express car at Bowie Friday morning and consigned the shipment to Santa Anita Park. Another car will follow at the close of the meeting next Saturday. Charles Feltner purchased the plater Bright Light from J. V. Stewart, and the five-year-old gelding performed in the interests of his new owner in Jhe second race Friday. Anthony Pelleteri and his wife departed for home in New Orleans and will await the shipment of the Millsdale Stable horses that will leave Bowie after the close of the meet ing. The horses here remained -in charge of agent A. Frost. J. Moran shipped his horses to Florida to await the meeting : Tropical Park and granted permission to jockey T. E. Ward to stay over for the rest of the meeting at Bowie, and for Charles Town. Jockeys J. Gilbert and H. Dabson returned from New York, where they went to attend the Garcia - Armstrong fight at Madison Square Garden.
