PREPARE FOR 600 HORSES Havana American Jockey Club to Take Care of Racers Shipped to Oriental Park. BALTIMORE, Md., Nov. 28 Jim Milton, general manager of the Havana American Jockey Club, today received, instructions from Al Levey, president of that orgaaniza-tion, to take horses off the cars at Oriental Park. This means that all owners and trainers who are in good standing need not worry about shipping money. Preparations have been made to handle 600 horses and Milton feels confident there will be that many on hand when the meeting opens in mid-January. The first shipment, one of three carloads, will leave Saturday and the next the following Tuesday. They will proceed in that order until the close at Charles Town when general shipments will start from this area. It is not anticipated that the heaviest influx to Oriental Park will come until January, with the close at Tropical Park. Reservations for horses which will participate in that Miami meeting already are in excess of two hundred. Many horsemen have questioned Milton as to the problem of feed, arangement of which has already been taken care of by the general manager. "Well have enough feed on hand by this Saturday to take care of 450 horses," he informed the writer "and other shipments will follow at regular intervals. Trainers need have no fears on this score." 1
