AGUA CALIENTE TURF NOTES I S Chief Tellowtail wired judge Schilling from Crow Agency, Montana, for reservations for three horses. A number of former jockeys are licensed trainers at Caliente, including Don Porter, Willie Molter, Joe McBride, George Ellis, A. Marshall and Willie Renn. Mr. Blaze, winner of the Governors Inaugural Handicap, was shipped back to Santa Anita by owner S. J. Norris, but will be returned as soon as another suitable stake is carded. Norris plans to send a couple of promising yearlings down shortly for racing after the first of the year. Jockeys John Donoho and Orval Norton are additions to the jockey brigade here. Woodboy, which refused to break Thursday, and Cresta Run have been placed on the schooling list by starter James Donovan. Jockey Alan Gray, one of the -Pacific Coasts leading reinsmen, who sustained a broken collarbone in a spill at Bay Meadows, is a Caliente visitor. Gray expects to resume riding at Tanforan within two weeks and plans to ride here on Sundays later in the season. The contract -of Walter Fagan, 18-year-old apprentice rider from Westchester, N. Y., has been leased to George Lamb. Fagan rode his maiden victory at Suffolk Downs last July and scored on his first mount here, Chestnut Baby, in the second race Friday.
