! NOTRE DAME TEAM LEAVES ! ! FOR CALIFORNIA j - ..---..-.--..4 SOUTH BEND, Ind., Nov. 28 The unbeaten and untied Notre Dame football team, comprising thirty-six players and coach Elmer Layden and his staff, left here today for California where they play Southern California next Saturday at Los Angeles before a crowd of 80,000 or more spectators The team will make a stopover at Tucson, Ariz., where light practice will be held. The team selected to make the trip was as follows: Ends J. Kelly, OBrien, Brennan, Brown, Kerr and Rassas. Tackles Beinor, Gallagher, Hollendoner, Kell, Harvey and Bechtold. Guards Captain McGoldrich, Bossu, De-fronca, P. Kelly, R. Sullivan, Albert and Gubanich. Centers Longhi, Mclntyre and Mooney. Quarterbacks Sitko, Hofer, Crowe and OMeara. Left Halfbacks Saggau, Stevenson, Sheridan and McGannon. Right Halfbacks Zontini, Morrison and Corgam. Fullbacks Thesing, Piepul and Tonelli.
