LEADING AMERICAN TRAIN ERsti e Very little change occurred in the race for leading training honors during the past week as most of the contestants either were inactive or started but few horses. Hirsch Jacobs saddled two winners, thereby gaining ground on "Bert" Alexandra, his closest rival, who was idle.
