THREE BECOME HUNTERS 1 LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 28. M. N. Porter, head of Porter Sales Company, dealing in thoroughbreds for hunting and steeplechas-ing purposes, with stables and paddocks on Georgetown Pike, last week sold and shipped to Mrs. Cary Jackson, Keswick, Va., three good hunting prospects, namely, Highland Ace, Derby Eve and Jay Bee Jay. Porter has several others, now feeding. He never jumps any of the horses he sells and has never practiced development, leaving that for others. He has a great eye for a potential show hunter and has a good clientelle among the dealers and developers in the East. Big John was perhaps the greatest horse ever to be selected and sold by Porter for show hunter class. He bought that horse from John S. Wiggins Military Stock Farm, near Paris, Ky.
