HOWARD LIKES IMPORTATIONS ARCADIA, Calif., Dec. 16 Charles S. Howard, owner of the mighty Seabiscuit, on his visit to Santa Anita yesterday was most enthusiastic about his two new importations from the Argentine. He met the boat in New York which brought in the South American triple crown champion Sorteado, his most recent purchase. He said the horse shipped well and looked splendid. He sent him down to Columbia to rest up for several weeks and get thoroughly acclimated. He thinks that his other South American, Kayak II., may turn out to be a really good thing. This horse has started seven times in this country, winning five and running second the other two times out. "It is not so much the type of hrse which he has beaten," Mr. Howard stated, "but the easy, confident manner in which he has accomplished these victories."
