CHARLES TOWN 1939 DATES CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., Dec. 16 The Charles Town Jockey Club announced today that it will request the West Virginia Racing Commission to grant the following tentative dates for racing for 1939: Spring, May 15 to June 24, thirty-six days, and fall, December 1 to December 23,-twcnty-one days.
