JOE FOLEY GULFSTREAM P. A. Joe Foley, Chicago sports promoter and public relations counsel for the majority of J Windy City tracks, left Tuesday for Miami, Florida to take charge of the press bureau of the new Gulfstream track in Broward County, Florida, formerly called Hollywood Park. He was accompanied by Mrs. Foley and one of his assistants Harvey Johnson. Bill Rudy and Armand Foley, two of the Foley publicity bureau, are already at work at Gulfstream, having proceeded there two weeks ago. There was a quick change in the Foley plans. Because of the construction of the new Gulfstream Park, Mr. and Mrs. Foley decided to leave Chicago at once for Florida, where they have spent the winter months for the past two years, but they had intended remaining in Chicago this season longer than usual because of tentative fight shows in January and February. The Louis-Braddock heavyweight worlds championship bout was staged under Foleys Illinois license by Mike Jacobs.
