PROTEST SHIPMENT TO JAPAN SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Dec. 20. The protest demonstration by nearly 2,000 Chinese against shipping scrap iron to Japan was aimed today at a second vessel at dock in San Francisco. Longshoremen immediately refused to buck the picket line and load the British freighter as they had done with a Greek ship last Friday. It was feared that fellow dock workers -would walk out in sympathy if the owners persist in their demands that the ships be loaded to fulfill contractural obligations.
