STEWARDS RULE AGAINST TRIO J. Benedetto, A. Daniels and N. Guarneri Suspended for Practices Detrimental to the Turf. NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 20. Action was taken by the Louisiana Jockey Club stewards here this afternoon against three persons, including J. Benedetto, trainer of the horse Baby Joe, Jockey Archie Daniels, who was scheduled to have ridden the horse in the third race today, and N. Guarneri, for practices detrimental to the best interests of racing. The rulings issued late this afternoon follow in full: "J. Benedetto, trainer, suspended indefinitely and denied all privileges of the track for practices detrimental to the best interests of racing. "A. Daniels, jockey, suspended for the remainder of the meeting for practices detrimental to the best interests of racing. "N. Guarneri, suspended indefinitely and denied all privileges of the track for practices detrimental to the best interests of racing. "The Stewards."
