Howard, in which the San Francisco sportsman stated that his Kayak II. will pass up his engagement in the Marchbank Handicap at Tanforan, and that it is intended his next start will be in the 0,000 Dixie Handicap, here, May 10. Kayak II. and his stablemates are to be shipped from Tanforan to the Hill Top plant on April 24. Johnny Adams, sensational coast jockey, who had the mount on the South American in his successful effort in the 00,000 Santa Anita Handicap, is to be astride Kayak II. in the Dixie and other eastern engagements. Bull Lea, winner of the Wideher Challenge Cup, also is an intended starter in the Dixie, which promises to mark the first meeting of the winners of the two most important winter stakes.
