The latter, far back early, moved up rapidly on the outside and .just failed to get up. HOLL IMAGE, far back for five-eighths, came to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. DEAD CALM, probably best and never far back, was blocked approaching the upper turn but came again after recovering, then tired near the end. COL. GOODNIGHT made up ground. JOT-EM-DOWN quit.
