1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I j Theodore E. Mueller, Louisville sportsman and former member of the Kentucky Racing Commission, will have two divisions of his stable ready for campaigning at Churchill Downs, George Brooks handling one, headed by the Kentucky Derby eligible Timeful, with the other under the direction of R. P. "Dick" Brooks. George Brooks registered Timeful, Visigoth, Cherovan, Ostrogoth, Abanico, Grass Cutter, Espania, Azafran and Dahomey, the last named a two-year-old. In "Dick" Brooks unit are the two-year-olds Querida, Connaught, Take-Itfrome and Inkspor and the older Chauvenet and Easterner. -The three-year-old brown filly Chanaibi, by Chance Shot Sunaibi, by Sun Briar, owned by Val Crane of Chicago, will be sent to the court of Cavalcade, winner of the 1934 Kentucky Derby. Chanaibi, a non-starter, was the only member of the Crane stable that was left at Douglas Park when the stable was shipped to New York. J. J. Flanigan, trainer of the Valdina Farm thoroughbreds, inspected the horses that he left at Churchill Downs while campaigning another division at Keeneland. He returned to Lexington and will remain there until the conclusion of the spring meeting. J. H. Skirvin, trainer for the stable of A. 1 C. Ernst, reported that Alup had been returned from Keeneland and will be prepared for future racing at Churchill Downs. M. B. Cohn, owner of the Superior Farm stable, which is stabled at Churchill Downs, was an arrival from his home in Memphis, Tenn., where he stopped off for a visit of a week after having spent the winter in Florida. Cohn plans to remain here throughout the impending Churchill Downs meeting. Emerson F. Woodward, owner of the pretentious Valdina Farm, which extends into three counties in Texas, departed for his home in Houston after a visit in Kentucky of more than three weeks. He plans to return for the local meet.
