CHURCHILL DOWNS OFFICIALS LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 25. The list of officials for the spring meeting at Churchill Downs, whose nineteen-day season opens Saturday, was announced today by Charles F. Price, presiding steward in charge of racing at the Kentucky Derby track. Serving with judge Price as associate stewards will be C. Bruce Head and William H. Shelley, the latter also officiating as racing secretary and handicapper. The placing judges will be Harry B. Lindberger, James T. Clark and Larry Bogenschutz, with Cliff Sanford serving as clerk of scales and William Hamilton returning as starter. Reuben White, former member of Hamiltons staff, has been appointed patrol judge, along with William J. Shelley; Thomas Oliphant and Dr. W. C. Hickman will be paddock judges, and R. F. Hoertz has been named official timer.
