dr. h. j. McCarthy dies HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 25. Racing circles were saddened early Tuesday morning by the death of Henry J. McCarthy, who for many years served as official veterinarian for the Maryland Racing Commission. In ill-health for a considerable period of time, his passing took place at his home on Reistertown Road in Baltimore at an age believed to be near 70.
