WISE GREENOCK, in motion when the start came, established a clear lead rapidly, responded to strong urging when challenged and outfinished COOPERSTOWN. The latter moved up with a rush, engaged the winner entering Ihe stretch and hung in the final stride. MIMOSA slow to begin and hustled along when in stride, finished strongly. PERFECT MAID tired. DENVER, shuffled back after a fast beginning, failed to recover. GLEAM began slowly, moved forward with a rush and failed to improve her position. BRILLIANT GOLD quit. TRY JUNE unseated rider and returned to the barn during the post parade. GIBBYS TORNADO, in close quarters early, moved up rapidly when clear, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch and got up in the final stride. GIN FRITTERS sprinted into a clear lead during the opening quarter, set a good pace under light urging, was put to stronger pressure when tiring and just failed to last. UPHOLD, hustled along from the start, held on well. BLOSSOM QUEEN raced on the inside throughout. GRAND CHILD began slowly and closed with a rush on the inside. COLONIAL MAID raced wide and was unable to keep up. CORN FIELD quit. MALINDA B. showed little under weak handling. CLANSMAID dropped back soon after the start. WISE BARRISTER, away slowly and rushed to the leaders on the inside, was. blocked midway of the stretch and tired thereafter. SOUTHLAND BEAU closed with a rush. NEIGHBOR finished fast on the outside.
