LITTLE KIEV, racing as if much the best and favored by the going, gained rapidly after half a mile, was taken to the inside in the stretch, overhauled the leaders and won going away. COUNT CARY, close to the pace throughout, took command in the stretch, offered good contention when challenged, but was overmatched. AMASIN, placed forwardly early, tired in the stretch. SKY HAVEN made a bold move leaving the back stretch, but could not threaten the leaders. DICK DARING could not keep up and raced extremely wide after half a mile. HOOK IT quit. EBONY GIRL tired in the stretch. PAVISAND fell approaching the stretch.
