The latter, away in stride and subjected to mild pressure, held on well in the final stages. TANGO QUEEN raced well under pressure. BILLY SKILFUL broke quickly, but lacked speed and failed to rally to strong ridine. EVELYNS PRIDE tired in the stretch. BAY HAVEN, rank at the post, failed to reach contention. RUBANS CHOICE closed resolutely in a good effort. NOPALOSA PEACE, rank at the post, broke slowly from outside the stalls and closed a eood gap, but was no threat. CLATSOP CHIEF fiinshed strongly. MERRILY ON had earlv speed. TRIPPAWA MISS tired in the stretch. MEKONG, awav in stride, lacked speed. TEENIE R. had no excuse. SARAGON, HARVEYS CHOICE and NOPALOSA PEACE delayed the start. GRAY GANDER moved to the front quickly, attained a clear advantage, offered stubborn contention when challenged, but could not repulse the winner. CHARLEY HOSS, racing in blinkers and in close quarters early, gained steadily when clear, but could not threaten the first two. GAY KHAN began slowly, bu telosed resolutely. GOLDEN PER, away in a tangle and trying to race wide throughout, finished gamely. JACK MINARD. away in stride and on the inside, failed to keep up in the stretch. MUSICAL JACK began fast, could not go with the leaders, but moved up strongly approaching the stretch to take command and held on with good courage, but could not resist the winner. OFF TIME, a strong factor to the final sixteenth, failed to rally to strong riding. BLAZING SUN, in close quarters early, moved to the front when clear, but tired in the stretch. LADY BALLET tired when subjected to pressure. FLEETING MOON, away in stride, failed to keep pace after three eiehths. TALL OAK was outpaced. Overweight — Moonset, 2 pounds. D. A. The latter moved up stoutly approaching the stretch, took command and offered strong resistance when challenged, but was not good enough. FULL TILT, probably best, swerved to the outside when the start was effected, was taken to the inside while improving his position, then rallied to strong riding and finished fastest. POMPOUS GENIE beean well, raced with the leaders for a half mile, then dropped back and appeared to sulk, but responded in the stretch and closed resolutely. SARAH JUSTICE was outpaced.
