HIGHMINDED, well handled and steadied along early, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch and, wearing down the leaders, won drawing away. PRUM took command under energetic handling, was under steadying restraint while pacemaking, drew clear after disposing of ARNOLDS ACTOR and was unable to withstand the winner, but was best of the others. NOAHS PRIDE worked his way forward steadily and finished strongly. ARNOLDS ACTOR, used up in the pace, tired rapidlv during the final eighth. KANSASCITIAN tired. SWIFT LAD had no mishaps. GOOD MEMORY, well handled and reserved early, moved to the leaders when readv took commard approaching the final quarter, rapidly established a clear lead to steadily increase his advantage and won easily. EBONY PARASOL, well up from the start, failed to menace the winner, but held on well ESPINACA came from well back. FOR ROMANCE raced on the outside. FLY ME, used up in the pace quit badlv after seven -eighths. STROLLING HOME failed to keep up. MICHILLINDA, in close quarters at the far turn, moved forward when ready, responded to strong urging in the drive and, on the outside, finished in a dead heat with PARI ERNEST. The latter, well handled and taken in hand when outrun, established a good lead after wearing down HI-WAVE, but tired in the last stages. LIBERTY ANN, slow to begin and far back for five sixteenths, closed in resolute fashion. HI WAVE came over sharply when racing into a good early lead, was unable to withstand the leaders and tired rapidly in the last stages. BAF CEE showed an even effort. JUANTTA J. raced wide. B EIGHTY, rusfied to the front, gave way to ROYAL CHARM, then dropped back on the turn and came aeain in the last stages. ROYAL CHARM, hustled along from the start, drew clear after subduine B EIGHTY and tired rapidly in the last staees. SOUND WAVE closed last on the inside. WITAN quit SWEEPING FLAME was outrun.
