THERMAL sprinted through on the inside in the first eighth, shook off FORESEE leaving the back Stretch, drew clear and was never threatened. MY MOTHER worked way forward steadily the first half mile, came to the outside for the stretch run, closed with a rush, but was unable to threaten the winner. FORESEE raced with THERMAL in the early stages and held on gamely to the end. SPING BELL made up ground from a slow beginning. STUCCO raced evenly. PETES LADY quit. UVA had brief speed. COTIER saved ground throughout, closed gamely and outfinished CHAT EAGLE. The latter, steadied close to the pace for three-quarters, came to the outside for the stretch run and hung in the drive. BABE TAYLOR worked way forward steadily and closed with a rush through the final quarter mile. BACK FENCE forced the pace to the stretch, then faltered. PIE PLATE tired. FIGHT TALK was never prominent. SHICAHRI was away slowly. HI-PEGGY could never threaten, MINT BOX met interference on the first turn and moved up threateningly after three-quarters, then quit. WORTH TRYING set the pace under steady restraint the first mile and a quarter and gave , way to the winner going to the final hurdle, then came again to the end. RIVER CREST worked way forward steadily, moved up with a rush entering the stretch, was bearing in all through the stretch run and was unable to get through. SATIN ROCK tired.
