LINCOLN FIELDS TWO STAKES .Trials of Eligibles for Saturdays Dual Features — Her Reign in Fine Fettle. CRETE, 111., June 14.— A number of nominees for Saturdays two stakes at Lincoln Fields were seen in private trials at Lincoln Fields and Washington Park this morning. The only stakes eligible to engage in a training move at Washington Park was William Maloneys Her Reigh, winner of the 1 La Salle Handicap, which breezed a good I seven furlongs in 1:32, around the "dogs," I although the track was fast. Her Reigh is , [ to try for his second stakes triumph of the ! meeting in the Marquette Handicap, which, I with the Calumet Handicap, will headline | Saturdays program at the Crete track. The Marquette is to be contested at a mile and in eighth, and the Calumet at six furlongs. | Other Marquette eligibles to indulge in private spins at Lincoln Fields, where the ! track was good, were J. W. Parrishs Dellor, Friedberg and Axtons Bala Ormont, Mrs. Emil Denemarks Melodist, Finance and Some Count, Superior Farms Bobs Boys, C. E. Davisons Chance Ray, and Bert Friends Co-Sport. WORK MILE AND EIGHTH. Bala Ormont and Dellor went a mile and a furlong each, the former in 1:59 handily, and the latter in 2:00 flat breezing. Melodist ; breezed three-quarters in 1:20%, and Finance I went the same distance in 1:22, also breez- I ing, while the third member of the Dene-mark string, Some Count, went a handy 1 half-mile in :50 handily. Bobs Boys traveled five furlongs in 1:07% breezing; Co-Sport went a handy three-quarters in 1:15%, and Chance Ray covered i three furlongs, strongly restrained, in :38%. Finance, Melodist and Co-Sport also are i eligible for the Calumet Handicap. Others eligible for this sprint feature in action at Lincoln Fields this morning were Calumet Farms Easy Mon and Talked About, which stepped three-quarters each, the former in 1:18, and the latter in 1:16%, and John Marschs Kings Blue, which traversed a similar distance in 1:21. Talked About went handily, while the other two were only breezing.
