Special Cablegram. , ASCOT, England, June 14.— The colors of William Woodward, international turfman, and chairman of The Jockey Club in the | United States, were born to victory here J today -by Hypnotist, son of Hyperion— Flying » Gal. He triumphed in the mile and a half 1 King Edward VII. Stakes, a prize of 5,000, for three-year-olds. Hypnotist, in a measure, atoned for his defeat in the Derby earlier ■ this month. The favorite at even money, won by three lengths from Lord Derbys 3 Cockpit, at 9 to 2. The latter took the place ; by a head from Sir Abe Baileys High Peru, 11 to 2. Two Americans, Marshall Field and R. S. Clark, failed in the Coronation Stakes, worth l approximately 0,000. Fields Infra Red and 1 Clarks Galatea II., 11 to 5 favorite, finished i unplaced in the one-mile contest, for three- year-old fillies. Victory went to Lord i Glanelys Olein. Marcel Bossacs Canzoni i was second, and James Blacks Buoyant was 3 third. Mrs. James Corrigans Panorama, ., another American-owned thoroughbred, was s beaten by Lady Beattys Gold Vista in the e Fernhill Stakes, ,000 value, and a dash of f five furlongs, for three- and four-year-olds. i. The Royal Hunt Cup, always a medium for r heavy betting, was won by Sir Abe Baileys s four-year-old Caerloptic. He finished the e straight seven furlongs and 155 yards course e length in front of C. Jarvis Galsonia. Lord -j Derbys Greenwich was third. The winner r was 100 to 8, the second horse 20 to 1, and j Greenwich 25 to 1. Other winners today were J. V.
