Pultz registered seven horses he brought here from Fairmount Park for the Illinois turfman, W. C. Reichert. Those which make up the stable are Miss Pittypat, Joyce K., Amos, Little Abner, Spanish Bells, Willie J. and Daisy May. The first issue of the Arlington Park con- dition book reached Lincoln Fields, and copies are available in the offices of the racing secretary. Frank Abbate, Chicago horseman, received the plater, Colonel Joe, which he purchased privately from Jack Hayes. The horse was transferred here from North Randall. Ab- bate formerly owned the horse. W. H. Stephens got in from Coliinsville with My Grandson and Perplex, owned by himself, and Bunny Jr., the property of H. Teeling. From Omaha came J. R. Carson with his lone racing tool, Viernes Santo. Jockeys Leland Lake and Melvin Knight joined the local riding contingent, having come in from Fairmount Park. Cliff Huffnagel, member of W. H. Shelleys staff, left for North Randall, where he went in the interests of Latonia stakes. Nomina- tions for the Latonia features close on June 15. J. H. Manheimer, Chicago sportsman, whose colors have not been seen on the turf for two years, plans to return to racing next fall. He has five older horses and a pair of two-year-olds on his farm at Barrington, 111.
