Syls Jimmy Checks In At Lincoln Fields Oval Fiye Other Stone Colorbearers Accompany Good Three-Year-Old CRETE, 111., May 21. Syls Jimmy, owned by S. H. and J. C. Stone of Louisville, arrived at Lincoln Fields to resume preparation for whatmay foe a busy summer campaign among the countrys best three-year-olds. The colt, whose owners think he is a horse of much promise, came from Churchill Downs with five stable-mates, the others being Sissy Smith, Jack Sting, Santa Eliza, Snoozer and Shuckins. Syls Jimmy, who injured himself last fall, is receiving a slow and careful prep and may not be seen under colors-here at Lincoln Fields until late in the meeting. Two of his .major objectives this summer are the Arlington Classic and the American Derby at Washington Park. The Stone three-year-old was only lightly campaigned last year but four of his six engagements were in stakes and in each of them he received "a share of the purse. He won the Maplewood Stakes at Rockingham and finished second to Alsab in the Mayflower Stakes at Suffolk Downs. He was fQurth to Requested, Apache and Contradiction in the Cowdin Stakes at Aqueduct and fourth to Contradiction, Seamarilike and Rodes K., in the Old Colony Stakes at Narragansett. He won one of his overnight engagements and finished second in the other. Before leaving Churchill Downs Wednesday, Syls Jimmy worked six furlongs in 1:18 in the mud, according to his trainer, Henry Louden.
