William B. Simpson Expected Here in About Two Weeks CRETE, 111., May 21. William B. Simpson of Chicago, whose Bonzar and Take Wing won engagements at Lincoln Fields yesterday, is at his winter home in Menlo Park, Calif., but may return to Chicago in about two weeks. Don Jefferson, young trainer of the Simpson thoroughbreds, reports that Genl Manager, a stakes winner and star of the stable, is training in excellent fashion and may get into competition before the end of the Lincoln Fields season. He is being pointed specially, however, for racing at Arlington and Washington Parks. Jefferson says the horse is showing no evidence of the injury that caused his temporary retirement last year.
