Fifteen Being Prepared For Revere Handicap Bell Tower, Alaking and Abrasion Turn In Trials for Suffolk Race BOSTON, Mass., May 21. The seventh running of the Paul Revere Handicap, ,000 added mile and one-sixteenth affair, which will feature Saturdays sport at Suffolk Downs, will draw a field almost as large as that which went to the post in the Governors Handicap last week. At this time no less than 15 of the 30 horses originally nominated are being prepared for the week-end feature and one or two others may be named at entry time tomorrow. Among those expected to go to the post are Phil Biebers Maechance, Bern Stables Master Henry, Circle S Stables Hysterical, Coldstream Stables Tragic Ending, Benjamin F. Listers Bell Tower, John R. Macombers Side Arm, J. W. Y. Martins Abrasion, Louis B. Mayers Sir Jeffrey, John ,P. Miles Itabo, Charles E. Nelsons Alaking, Bernard B. Robinsons No Competition, Maj. Gustave Rings Cis Marion, John L. Sullivans Transfigure and Air Master and Valdina Farms Viscounty. Phil Biebers Maechance enhanced his chances of victory in Saturdays feature by his performance in an overnight race Thursday, which included two other eligi-bles for the Paul Revere. The son of Chance Shot and Martinique improves on an "off" track and is well placed in this affair. Three other Paul Revere eligibles, Bell Tower, Alaking and Abrasion, were on the racing strip this morning for workouts. Bell Tower and Alaking were sent a mile, but Abrasion was given a half-mile blowout. The Lister representative moved his mile in 1:43 over the dull racing strip. Alaking accomplished the same assignment in 1:41 rather handily, being caught at the half in :50 and the three-quarters in 1:15. Abrasion negotiated the half in :49.
