HERE NOW, away slowly and badly outrun for throe-quarters;- moved up rapidly thereafter and was headed after getting to the front, but outfinished OUST. The latter, also well outrun to the stretch, came with a rush when straightened up for the final drive and got to the front, but could riot withstand the winner. SIGN, steadied when ourun, was allowed to improve her position with a rush after leaching the last five-sixteenths and tired in the closing eighth. SKIPPERS MATE also closed with good belated speed. JEWELLS OWN began slowly. HOLLY faltered after racing prominently to the stretch. SWIFT SUE gave way badly in the last eighth. BUSY JOSIE was blocked leaving the back stretch. GABE, hustled to take a forward position and returned to strong riding before reaching the final fluarter, came through on the inside when passing BOLO TIE and tired after taking command, but held the race safe. RIGHT CARLA, never a great distance back, saved much ground and, finishing well, headed BOLO TIE in the closing strides. The latter took command quickly, drifted out when entering the stretch and began to tire after a half mile. AERIAL TORPEDO raced wide throughout. MAMIE E. also lost ground. MISTRESS STEP and TREECLA began verv slowlv. FEALTY tired after showing mild speed to the last three-sixteenths. AVACHANCE, taken in hand after being under good urging for about three-sixteenths, came out for the drive and, wearing down TOP NOTE, was kept under pressure to the end. GRAND RUSH, unable to improve her position early, closed well while saving ground and outfinished HAICHOW. The latter raced into contention with a rush after a half mile and fought it out gamely to the end. TOP NOTE was under hustling tactics from the start and swerved when faltering in the final eighth. LADY ROMERY did not keep up soon after reaching the stretch, but came again. IRISH BAY was" outrun. POWERHOUSE began very slowly and, injuring himself, propped soon after leaving the starting gate. DON LIN II., outrun from the start, drifted out on the first turn, rallied with much energy when straightened and, wearing down the leaders, was drawing out at the end. HY-COP, hustled into command, cut out a good pace, then came out in the stretch and, tiring, could not withstand the winners challenge. VOTUM, in hand to the stretch where he swung to the middle of the track, closed determinedly through the final three-sixteenths JOAN T., well up from the start and saved for a half mile, responded only weakly when called upon, then faltered in the final sixteenth. HEARTMAN, on the outside throughout and forced very wide through the. stretch, was nicely handled while being saved back of the pace, made his move gradually and, disposing of BULLDINGER, came away to win wit something left. BULLDINGER took command easily, came wide into the stretch and, placed to pressure, began to tire before reaching the final sixteenth. RELIOUS, badly outrun to the stretch, closed well and only headed POLY-MELIOR in the final stride. The latter saved much ground and showed an even effort. FRENCH HORN had no mishaps. BEAMY, taken back soon after the start, was blocked when leaving the back stretch and moved up after going to the outside, but gave way in the final drive. INSCOLAD was unable to keep up. ALDRIDGE was a factor from the startj raced in hand to the final quarter and held on well while under mild pressure thereafter. PANORASCOPE, in close1 quarters through the back stretch, started up when clear and stood a drive gamely, but was held safe by the leaders. NEDDIES HERO, away slowly, was unable to attain a contending position. NEW ENGLANDER began fast, bore out on the turns and tired in" the stretch. JACKORACK showed little. HADA MOON ran into an easy lead in the opening quarter, held sway under a snug hold to the stretch and, only mildly roused when MAD MACAW threatened, won with something in reserve. MAD MACAW, under steady restraint to the final quarter, made a determined bid, but was held safe. FAY D. dropped put of contention in the first quarter, was shaken up entering the stretch and closed well under sustained light urging thereafter. HUP NANCY, atken in hand soon after the start, bore out rounding the final turn and raced under light urging thereafter. JIM LIPSCOMB forced the pace under snug reserve and. withstood a drive gamely, but could not hold ihe winner. HER REIGH, never a great distance back, was blocked when entering the stretch and came with a rush when clear. CHIN MUSIC tired in the stretch drive. PETER TOKALON finished fastest in his good effort. LYNER had no mishaps. ALSPUR dropped back in the stretch, but came again. MI SECRET showed a poor effort. ENGLISH HARRY, taken back to follow the pace, faltered under pressure.
