Winners by Rhodes Scholar PARIS, Ky., May 23. Arthur B. Hancock, who has the English stallion, Rhodes Scholar, here in service under lease at Claiborne Stud, is enthusiastic about the showing made by the get of the Pharos horse in England this year. Only two of Rhodes Scholars progeny" have started -here this year, both of them winning. In a cable from E. E. Coussell of the British Bloodstock Agency, Hancock was informed that Sir Edward, by Rhodes Scholar, had won the Crawford Three-Year-Old Handicap at Newmarket on May 13. Sir Edward, ridden by Gordon Richards, won by four lengths, beating a field of thirteen. The other winner was Roadlaw, who scored In a mile race by three lengths over eighteen other three-year-olds. : . I t I I I :
