JEFFERSONTOWN began well, was taken in hand when outrun through the back stretch, came determinedly when hard urged in the drive and. was up in the final stride. - HURRY CALL was shuffled back after the opening quarter, recovered under good handling and, responding to punishment in the stretch, closed determinedly, just missing FAUSt. improved her position steadily through the first three-quarters, swerved to the inside when called upon in the drive, but finished resolutely after being straightened. TONYPANDY, a forward factor from the start, took command in the back stretch and set the pace to the final eighth under pressure from SCROUUb, then faltered. Overweight Hermetical, 2 pounds. HADATIME, alertly handled, took command before going a quarter, established a good lead and easily held his advantage to the close. ST. DISMAS saved ground when outrun to the stretch and responded readily when hard urged in the drive, but could not menace the winner, though easily besting the others. SWELL CHANCE, a forward factor from the start, failed to stay when subjected to punishment in the stretch. VALDINA FIRO finished fast after beginning slowly. GOOD TASTE ran off a half mile before the start, then failed to show anything -in the running. HANDY JUSTICE raced forwardly placed to the final turn, then gave way. AXELSON broke well, then dropped back. BLACK TIME had speed to the final eighth, but tired. CHANCE ANN went wide entering the stretch and lost all chance. FLAG POST was unable to keep up. SHERRON ANN began slowly, worked her way up steadily through the first half, slipped through on the inside entering the stretch and, withstanding a brisk drive, lasted to hold DOLL BABY safe. The latter, much used forcing the early pace, held on determinedly in the drive, but was not g6od enough for the winner. REMOTE CONTROL, never far back, came between horses entering the stretch and finished stoutly under punishment. MILK PUNCH, outrun to the final quarter closed with a rush to give a sharp effort. SAMBOROMBON, a forward factor throughout, was caught in tight quarters in the drive and failed to recover thereafter. WISE MOSS, slow to begin, had to be taken up sharply in the drive when her rider attempted to take her between horses. LAST GOLD was unable to threaten. RED DOCK was never dangerous.
