Cooperative Buying of Hay BOSTON, Mass., May 23. The first carload of hay which a pool of members of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective ! Association purchased arrived at Suffolk ! Downs today. Because of the fact that it was oversubscribed, only partial orders were filled. Additional carloads will arrive in the very near future as horsemen experiment with a co-operative hay and grain purchasing arrangement in order to reduce the cost of feed.
