Ten to Ace Romps to Easy Win In Renewal of Kings Plate TORONTO, Ont., May 23. Harry Gid-dings fleet-footed Ten to Ace, projected himself forcibly into the compact picture of Canadas turf greats, when he completely outclassed six others in the 83d running of the time-honored Kings Plate, at Woodbines inaugural of the Ontario racing season today. Blazing away from the gate in his characteristic front-running fashion, the blaze-faced, chestnut son of Stand Pat Royalite, opened up an insurmountable advantage and bounced home 10 lengths to spare, Without even feeling the sting of jockey C. W. Smiths whip. Cossack oPst, flying the double blue livery of H. C. Hatch, was in second place at the wire, after a futile bid to catch the .1 flying leader. J. E. Smallmans Depressor was third, after running to the outside fence at the head of the stretch. The fault probably cost him second money Wm. McDonalds North Swept outnodded R. S. McLaughlins Valkyrian for the minor purse award.
